Johann Graebner arrived in the United States at New York June 1, 1847, aboard the Hermine, which left Europe on April 22 from Bremerhaven. Four surviving sons--August of St. Louis, Conrad of Saginaw, Heinrich of Milwaukee, Friederick in Bay City (pastor), and two daughters, Regina (Mrs. Henry Jungkunzt) of Columbia City, IN, and Kunigunde, Mrs. Henry Eggebrecht of Milwaukee, as of 27 May 1898.
