after his arrival, thus 1834; she was then 17, thus born 1817. The Manns
lived
in Pennsylvania for four years (Reading), then, in 1829, went to
Michigan.
Thus Louise was born in Germany; the family immigrated about 1825.
He and Louise had 12 children.
